How To Make Letters Bold, Italic And Strike Through On Android Devices
There are two methods of achieving the Bold, Italics and Strikethrough on Android devices.
Android devices having Gboard as it’s default keyboard is more easier to achieve these, while they are shortcuts for devices without Gboard, I will be giving a description on both methods in this article.
1. Making latters Bold
If you have the Gboard as your default keyboard type a latter when chatting on WhatsApp for example highlight the text and click on Bold the text becomes Bold automatically.
If you don’t have Gboard as you default keyboard no worries you can also achieve this by using the asterisks before and after the text for example; *font* as simple as that.
2. Applying Italics to Texts
If you have the Gboard as your default keyboard type the text, highlight the text and then click on Italics, it will automatically be Italics as shown below:
For those with Gboard you can get Italic texts by using the underscore symbol before and after the text for example; _font_ and you will get an Italic text .
3. Strikethrough Texts
If you have Gboard as your default keyboard type a text, highlight the text and click on the Strikethrough option to Strikethrough a text.
if you don’t have Gboard as your default keyboard use this (~) symbol before and after the text; ~font~ and get a Strikethrough text.
