Realme GT Neo 3T launch is confirmed

OnePlus was one of the first brands to invest in a “T-tier” of smartphones with the OnePlus 3T. The company left this tradition behind with its flagship lineup, but there are still some recent “T” releases such as the OnePlus 9RT and the more recent, OnePlus Nord 2T. A lot of other companies have been following this recently, and each one has a particular meaning for it. One can consider the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ a “Turbo” version of the original devices, while the OnePlus Nord 2T can be a slight refresh over the last year’s model. Realme is also among the gang of T-series smartphones, and its recently released Realme GT Neo 3 will get a new variant dubbed Realme GT Neo 3T. The company has just confirmed that this device is indeed coming soon.

The Realme GT Neo 3T has been cycling through the rumor mill in the last few days. The device passed through some certifications and is giving its first steps into release. Unfortunately, not much is known about its specs package or exact release date. However, Realme clearly states it’s coming soon. Hence, we go forward to expect it as soon as in the next month. 

Realme GT Neo 3T alleged specs and features

Realme has shared a couple that partially shows the phone’s design. The company is going back to its traditional top-left aligned punch-hole camera. To recall, the Realme GT Neo 3 was the first device in Realme’s story to pack a centered punch-hole. Lovers of symmetry won’t help with the design choice in the 3T. Anyway, the poster also shows the power button on the right frame. Looking at the design of the button, it’s just a standard button and not one that doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Therefore, the phone may pack an in-display fingerprint scanner just like the regular Neo 3. This ultimately points to an AMOLED screen.

According to a leaked Geekbench benchmark, the Realme GT Neo 3T will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset is becoming really popular in 2022. Other specifications include Android 12, which means Realme UI 3.0, and 8 GB of RAM. Also, rumored specs include a 6.5-inch panel, up to 256 GB of storage and a 64 MP main camera.
