We already know much about the upcoming Redmi K30, thanks to multiple leaks and teasers by the company itself.
Redmi K30 will be the brand’s first dual-mode 5G smartphone when it will be unveiled on coming Monday. The device brings a lot to the table including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 with integrated 5G modem, making it the first-ever phone to do so. Other than that, the K30 will ditch the pop-up camera in favour for a dual punch-hole display but the panel will be an LCD, a step down from its predecessor’s AMOLED screen.
Though the specifications and teaser renders are impressive, we cannot judge the phone unless we get it on our hands. Thankfully, an unboxing video of Redmi K30 surfaced on Weibo, giving us a glimpse of the final product. The phone looks exactly as the renders posted by the brand except for the cut-out on the screen for cameras. Companies have a habit of designing renders with bezels and cut-outs/notches smaller than they are actually in real life. Sadly, that has what Redmi has done with the Redmi K30 as we can see it clearly in the alleged unboxing video. Controversial part aside, this phone will be the first Redmi smartphone to run MIUI 11 out of the box.
