We already know the first details of the Sony Xperia 10 III. This device will be the renewal of the Xperia 10 II, one of the latest Sony mid-range. Both the company and its devices are somewhat missing from the current scene, although in 2020 they launched good bets, especially in the high-end range. Now is the time to talk about your mid-range by 2021, a device that will arrive in February with few design novelties. Of course, we can already say that it is one of the most peculiar terminals of the entire mid-range.
This is the Sony Xperia 10 III: leaked design
OnLeaks has been in charge of filtering the final design of this device. We are facing a terminal quite similar to the Sony Xperia 10 II with very subtle changes. Sony bets on a mid-range manufactured, apparently, with enough quality and with a design quite different from what other manufacturers are used to.
It is Xperia 10 III It has no notch or holes on the screen: bet on some traditional bezels slightly reduced. There are details that we do not know yet, such as the exact size of your screen, or the processor that it will include.
What is clear is its design, which comes with a 3.5 headphone jack, a side mounted fingerprint sensor and a glass back with metal frames. The dimensions opt for a compact and easy-to-handle device: 154,4 x 68,4 x 8,3 mm.
Possible features of the Sony Xperia 10 III
It is very likely that Sony will base the list of features of the Sony Xperia 10 III on that of the current terminal, the Xperia 10 II. We do not know if Sony will decide to include a screen with a higher refresh rate or will opt to stick with 60 Hz. Most likely, your screen will have a FullHD + resolution, sea YOU ARE and have a diagonal of 6 inches.
Regarding the performance section, we have little data. The Xperia 10 II mounts a Snapdragon 665 along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage. In this new generation it is quite likely that the processor will be renewed, although it is not clear by which. The option that sounds loudest is Qualcomm Snapdragon 690, a mid-range chip that offers 5G connectivity.
The terminal chamber will be triple with a 12 MP main sensor, an 8 MP telephoto and a wide angle. It is not the most interesting camera – on paper – on the market, but Sony could surprise with quality sensors and a decent processor.
Most of these characteristics they are based on speculation and Sony’s strategy with the Xperia 10 II, so you should take all the information with a grain of salt. Sony is expected to present this Sony Xperia 10 III in February, so there are only a few weeks left for submission.
