Tecno Camon 16 Premier arrives in India, sales begin January 16

The Tecno Camon 16 Premier unveiled last September made its debut today in India. It comes in a single 8GB/128GB configuration and is offered in Glacier Silver color. You can buy one through Flipkart for INR16,999 ($230/€190) starting January 16.

The Camon 16 Premier is powered by the Helio G90T SoC and runs Android 10-based HiOS 7 out of the box. The smartphone is built around a 6.85″ FullHD+ 90Hz screen that has a pill-shaped hole in the upper-left corner for the 48MP wide and 8MP ultrawide cameras.

Around the back, we get a quad camera setup comprising a 64MP primary (Sony IMX686), 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth, and 2MP night video units.

The Camon 16 Premier comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and packs a 4,500 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port. But the Indian variant charges at up to 18W instead of 33W.
