ZTE brought the Axon 20 smartphone back in September – it was the first commercially available device with a camera hidden under the display. Just five months later the company is already preparing the successor after its president announced a ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G is on its way.
The profile of the manufacturer posted an image of an irregular shape that looks like a folder or a sim card. However, it could also be the outline of a camera island, because there are no boundaries for perfection.
The Axon 20 series never got a phone with a proper flagship chipset, so we expect the Axon 30 Pro to run the Snapdragon 888, given the appearance of Pro in the name. We are also wondering whether the new phone will improve the UD camera technology and if it will keep it at all – all answers should pop up in the near future and we hope ZTE will surely give us more teasers in the following weeks.
